How many people have you met purely by chance in random places at random times for random reasons such as work, professional events, social gatherings, or lifestyle compatibilities?

In recent times, the founders of randm reflected on this very question after two decades of significant international and domestic business and holiday travel. During these travels, every trip produced new connections outside the original itinerary, at airports, hotels, train and ferry stations, and events, to name just a few. These randm connections evolved into long-term business and social relationships.

Usually, it all started with a simple hello.

Our reflections posed another question: how many people at these random places did we walk straight past? People we did not know but should have—people with compatible work, social, and wider lifestyle interests as ours.

This question was the motivation to develop the randm freestyle networking platform. A platform that simply takes the chance out of chance meetings in random places at random times for random reasons.
